space and frills

This past weekend was opposites, for sure.  Chase was all about space and rockets, while Bethany's world was ballerina's and twirls.  I was pleased with how both turned out! Happy birthday to the new 4 year olds! :)

Ok, so my brother got married this past weeked!  Crazy, I know :) Emily, the bride, gave me a few pictures of different ideas on how to decorate and this was the end result! I was kind of excited to do a wedding cake!

 

..and the cupcakes to match with fondant butterflies :)

Little Ladybug

Ladybug cake for Miss Avery, who turned one last week. The cake was strawberry with the ladybug "smash" cake on top for the birthday girl! The cupcakes were vanilla bean.

After taking the pictures, cleaning up the kitchen, and getting ready for bed, I kept thinking about the little ladybugs crawling around the cake...so I went back and added some :)

Who doesn't love flowers and polka dots? This is what was requested for a bridal shower for some friends from high school. The cake was vanilla bean and the cupcakes were lemon with vanilla butter cream. Happy wedding days Meredith!

Stella & Dot

Vanilla Bean with Vanilla Buttercream

I got a call to do some cupcakes for a Stella & Dot party...if you haven't seen this stuff, it's super cute. Personally, I'm hoping Santa brings me something from the catalog :) Anyway, my requests were for something pink, teal and white with sprinkles. The host, Angela was going for a them of "Sparkles and Spinkles with Stella and Dot". I heard the party was a success and it was great meeting new clients, as always. I hope to hear from you guys soon, Angela and Lesley!
