For my 5th anniversary, Mom gave me something, made out of wood, to treasure...my Great-Grandmother's rolling pin. I've always enjoyed having older pieces that were once used by other's in my family, but this one seems a little more special...it even looks as though it still as flour in the creases :) I'm convinced, with a serious rolling pin like this one, she was a hard working woman, and loved her family more than life itself. I can promise this kitchen tool won't be stashed away in a cabinet, but instead, left out as an inspiration to do what I have grown to love...bake :)
